Schneider Electric SXWASB36X10001 SmartX AS-B-36 Automation Server

The SmartX AS-B-36, also known as the Schneider Electric SXWASB36X10001, is a flexible automation server that is important to EcoStruxure Building Management Systems (BMS). It has 36 I/O points and can control logic, log trends, and supervise alarms with BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, and Modbus support.

This DIN rail-mounted controller has flexible universal I/O, two Ethernet ports with an IP switch, and a built-in 24V power supply, making it easy to integrate into a plant room. The 256 MB FRAM and 2 GB flash memory make sure that HVAC, lighting, and energy management can handle a lot of data. The FSTN LCD display shows the status. It is best for industrial and commercial buildings, and it can be expanded with SpaceLogic IP-IO modules.

Usage Guide:

-> Attach to a DIN rail and connect 24V AC/DC power, making sure the transformer is at least 15 VA. Check that the LCD starts up.​

-> Set up I/O over Ethernet or USB using EcoStruxure Building Operation software and give sensors universal points.

-> There are wire inputs (up to 24 VDC) and outputs (0–10 VDC, relay/triac). You can use plug-in terminals with overrides.

-> Set the IP (the default is 192.168.1.99), turn on protocols, and write logic for control, trends, and alarms.

-> Test in an environment with temperatures between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius and keep an eye on humidity levels below 95% RH. Add IP-IO modules as needed.
