IMO ACD 025N6 NVBP Low-Pressure Screw Pump (2021 Model)

The IMO ACD 025N6 NVBP is a three-screw, positive displacement pump that is recognised for being silent and having a flow that doesn’t pulse. This 025-size unit is part of the ACD series, which is designed to work well with lubricating oils, fuel oils, and hydraulic fluids that aren’t too aggressive. 1. Priming is very important: Even though this is a positive displacement pump, you should never operate it dry. Before starting up the first 2021 model, make sure that the pump casing is full of the process fluid. This will protect the mechanical seal from harm right away.

2. Check the alignment: This unit has a motor, however if you ever need to separate them for maintenance, utilize a laser alignment tool. A 0.5mm misalignment can cause the bearing to break early and use more power.

3. Keep an eye on the strainer; three-screw pumps have very little space between them. To keep metal particles from scoring the power and idler rotors, make sure there is a suction-side strainer (about 400–600 microns) in place.
