Allweiler NIM100 Marine Centrifugal Pump | 140 m³/h 21.3kW

Description

NEW Allweiler NIM100 Industrial Marine Pump (140 m³/h | 21.3kW | 1180RPM)

The NEW Allweiler NIM100 Industrial Marine Pump is a heavy-duty, single-stage volute casing centrifugal pump specifically designed for the harsh environment of commercial shipping, offshore platforms and severe industrial applications. The inline design – with the suction and discharge branches directly opposite – means that the marine metal pump is space-saving and can be easily integrated into existing pipework with no modification.

The NIM100 has a huge capacity of 140 m3/h and a power profile of 21.3kW. It runs at a highly stable 1180 RPM to maximise the hydraulic efficiency while minimising the Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) needs. It is constructed of the latest marine grade metal and is designed to operate under long term exposure to very corrosive seawater, brines, oils and distilled fresh water without quick cavitation or galvanic corrosion.

Insight from NDMarineTech:

When running an inline centrifugal machinery asset like the Allweiler NIM100 at 1180 RPM, you are operating in a highly stable wear zone. Lower RPM bands (like 1180 vs 3600 RPM) significantly reduce the wear velocity on your mechanical seal faces and internal wear rings, drastically increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). However, because it is an inline design handling high capacities (140 m³/h), structural pipe strain is your primary enemy.
