Lutron QSNE-4S5-230-D is a premium 4-zone DIN rail power module for switching control of a variety of lighting and motor loads in the Lutron Quantum system. The DIN Power Module (DPM) is an energy management and power distribution enhancement product, as well as a dependable node for complex automation applications. It has adaptive zero-cross switching, which reduces the electrical wear of the relay and greatly extends the service life of the internal contacts under a high capacitive or inductive load.

Installation and Maintenance Guide:

1. Line and Neutral Orientation Do not switch Line (L) and Neutral (N) wires between terminals. If daisy-chaining supply links, do not exceed the total module capacity of 16 A across the input feed lines.
2. Acoustic Placement Consideration: The internal electromagnetic switching relays generate audible clicking sounds when changing zone states. Do not fix panels directly to the stateroom, business conference room or accommodation living area partition walls.
3. Routeing for Heat Dissipation Always mount the DIN rail housing with the direction arrow pointing directly upward. Limiting the free convection vertical airflow around the ventilation slots will start internal heat protection cycles or limit the lifetime of internal components.
4. Warning Bypass Testing For the initial commissioning run, do not feed full 230V power through the module. Bypass the module completely with temporary termination jumpers. Do the insulation resistance (megger) testing and short circuit verification testing on the load cables directly, not to harm the internal module relays with field wiring problems.
