B&R X20SL8000 Ethernet Powerlink Description
The B&R X20SL8000 ETHERNET POWERLINK SafeLOGIC Controller is a high-performance safety PLC made for industrial automation tasks that need SIL 3 and PL e safety regulations. This small safety controller can handle up to 20 safety nodes and has a built-in POWERLINK V2 interface with two RJ45 hubs for easy real-time communication. The X20SL8000 has a fast Intel XSCALE 266 MHz CPU that makes it work reliably even when there are problems. It also has exchangeable SafeKEY memory that lets you manage applications in a flexible way.
This safety controller is part of B&R’s X20 modular system. It has IP20 protection, doesn’t need a fan to cool, and runs on 24 VDC electricity. The device comes with everything it needs, including an X20TB52 terminal block, an integrated power supply module, and an X20AC0SR1 end plate. The controller’s extensive diagnostics through several LED indicators make it easy to fix and keep things running smoothly in tough industrial settings.
