1. Never Turn Dials While Energized: Avoid modifying the time unit, scale, or operating mode dials while the timer is powered up. Doing so can cause erratic relay behavior or internal circuit faults. Always isolate the control voltage circuit before switching parameters.
2. Handling No-Voltage Inputs Safely: The standard H3CR-A operates on NPN/no-voltage inputs via its signal lines (Start, Reset, Gate). Never apply external phase voltages to terminals 5, 6, or 7. Doing so will instantly destroy the solid-state input logic chip. If your control loop relies on external voltage switching, verify you are routing it through isolated auxiliary dry contacts first.
3. IP66 Protection for Harsh Spaces: If you are installing this unit near purifier rooms, heavy washdown zones, or aboard open-deck machinery cabinets, couple the installation with the Y92A-48N waterproof silicon cover to maintain front-panel integrity against humidity and moisture ingress.
