Maintenance Guide:

1. Watch the Load Inductance When using these Form C relays to energise inductive loads (solenoids or big contactor coils) in 24V marine control systems, always install external snubbers or flyback diodes. This avoids inductive voltage spikes from pitting the internal relay contacts and so greatly extends the life cycle of the module.
2. Terminal Base Verification Make sure that the TB-IO-W1 sub-base is installed absolutely level on the DIN rail. If the backplane flexes or warps , the large gold-plated pins of the SXWDOC8XX10001 may not seat precisely . This can create intermittent communication problems in high-vibration environments .
3. LED Troubleshooting: Use the green local signalling LEDs to quickly distinguish between software and hardware issues. Do not verify the field wiring. If the output state in EcoStruxure software is ‘High’, but the green LED on the module is off, check your field bus communications settings.
