The G054M Rotor Set is a rotating assembly that has been precisely manufactured for the ACE 038K4 pump generation. Over time, temperature cycling and particles getting stuck in the screw profiles can cause internal slide and lower discharge pressure. This kit has everything you need to fix the pumping element, so you can be sure that your fluid transfer systems will work at their best with as little vibration as possible.

Installation Tips From Our Engineer:

  • Check the Casing Bore: Before putting in the new G054M rotor set, use a bore gauge to measure the inside of the pump housing. Even with a fresh rotor set, a worn case will still lose efficiency.
  • Before lubrication is important: After replacing the rotor, never start a pump without water. To stop galling from happening when the pump first starts up, manually prime it with the right system fluid (lube or fuel oil).
  • Check the Mechanical Seal: When you open the pump to install the G054M kit, you should also change the mechanical seal (G057). A new rotor set can raise the pressure within, which could make an old, weak seal break.
  • Check the alignment: After installing the motor-to-pump connection, use a dial indicator to make sure it is aligned correctly. Your new idler rotors will wear down unevenly if they are even a little out of alignment.
