Our Engineer’s Guide:

1. Avoid Overtightening: Even with Sun’s floating design, over-torquing can distort the cage. Always use a calibrated torque wrench. For the T-10A cavity, stick strictly to the manufacturer’s spec.
2. Fluid Cleanliness is King: This valve has tight tolerances. If your ISO 4406 cleanliness levels are off, you’ll see hunting or erratic pressure spikes. I recommend a 10-micron absolute filter upstream of any sensitive cartridge bank.
3. The Click Test: During commissioning, listen for the distinct, crisp seating of the valve. If it sounds mushy, check for aeration in the hydraulic oil—air is the enemy of precision control.
