Danfoss 082H0171 AME 435 QM is a high precision gear actuator specially designed for the modulating control of demanding HVAC and maritime cooling systems. The actuator is designed to be used with Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICVs) like the Danfoss AB-QM (DN 40-100), giving better flow control and energy economy.

Our Engineer’s Guide and Tips:

When installing the AME 435 QM in a marine engine room or high-humidity environment, always ensure the cable entry points are facing downward. While rated at IP 54, gravity is your best friend in preventing condensation from tracking along the wires and into the electronics.

Tip:- The Calibration Reset: If you replace the valve body but keep the actuator, always trigger a manual recalibration. Simply toggle the DIP switch or use the reset button under the cover. This forces the actuator to remap its 0-100% logic to the new mechanical end stops, preventing motor burnout.
