ASCO JPIS8317B307 24V DC Solenoid Valve – High-Flow 3-Way Control

The ASCO JPIS8317B307 is a key pilot interface for ships’ pneumatic and hydraulic control loops. This 1/4″ NPT 3-way valve works with 24V DC logic and is widely used in distributed control systems (DCS) that use Schneider Modicon PLCs or ABB Symphony Plus architectures. The 8317 series is distinct from conventional industrial valves because it is built to maintain the seat intact during high-frequency engine harmonics and localized hull vibrations that happen a lot in Category 3 vibration zones.

For blue-water conditions to be safe to use, parts must be able to endure 95% non-condensing humidity and continual salt spray. The JPIS8317B307 includes a hardened solenoid operator and an internal pilot assembly that won’t rust, so things won’t stick.
