1. Filtration: These actuators are carefully manufactured. Keep your HPU (hydraulic power unit) to ISO 4406 18/16/13 cleanliness requirements at all times. Oil contamination is the main cause of internal seal bypass.
2. Commissioning: Check the true concentricity of the valve stem during installation. Even with a properly balanced actuator, misalignment leads to early breakdown of the stem seal.
3. Maintenance: If you hear a “chatter” while operating, check the crossover valve settings. The BRC 052-A1 is whisper silent, any vibration is an indication of air in the lines or impeded exhaust flow.
