The SIEMENS 7XV5662-0AD00/DD Communication Converter ET/T1 is a compact 2 Mbit/s communication converter that is intended to connect synchronous and asynchronous serial data from protection and automation devices to E1 (2 Mbit/s, G.703.6) or T1 (1.544 Mbit/s) communication networks. It guarantees noise-free data transfer via optical fiber on the device side and offers a jumper-configurable, electrical E1/T1 interface to the telecommunications or utility network.
