When putting the EDR-120-24 in high-ambient-humidity or salt-air areas, always install the device vertically to take advantage of the chimney effect for cooling. Its greatest asset is its small profile, but it can grow hot if you stack units with zero clearance. I would recommend leaving at least 5mm of breathing space between components that are next to each other on the rail to increase the life of the electrolytic capacitor.

Pro Tip: If your load is more than 10 meters away from the power supply, you can use the front-facing DC voltage adjustment potentiometer to compensate for voltage decreases. A simple change to 24.5V at the source can save you hours of troubleshooting irregular PLC resets.
