NAG Marine TD-107 Oil Content Monitor (15 PPM Bilge Alarm)
The NAG Marine TD-107 Oil Content Monitor (MPN: NAG2533) is a very accurate marine-grade 15 PPM bilge alarm that monitors oil contents in vessel bilge water discharges. This instrument is USCG and DNV certified to be completely compliance with severe international maritime rules under IMO Resolution MEPC.107(49) and avoid non-compliant oily water discharges into our oceans.
The TD-107 uses sophisticated Fluorescence Detection Technology instead of the legacy light scattering oil content monitors (OCMs) that are notorious for generating false alarms from rust, silt, algae and drilling muds. It exploits the optical signature of hydrocarbons to stimulate oil molecules to fluoresce, providing an accurate quantification of real oil concentration without interference from suspended particles. Housed in a durable NEMA 4X / IP66 powder-coated mild steel shell, the TD-107 combines a modular user display with a plug-and-play remote smart sensor assembly for easy maintenance and easy vessel installation.
