The Tvornica MPD PASVK-32-4NM/100L-2 is a heavy-duty, high-performance three-spindle screw pump developed to satisfy the high needs of the maritime and offshore sectors. A positive displacement pump it produces a smooth, non-pulsating flow and is perfect for transfer and circulation of viscous, lubricating liquids such as marine fuel oils, lubricating oils and hydraulic media.

This unit is built to be reliable in harsh conditions and is supplied as a full assembly with its connected electric motor for perfect integration into your ship’s existing machinery space. The PASVK series is designed for long-term performance, for use as main engine lubricator or fuel oil booster service.

Our Engineer’s Guidance:

1. Priming Centrifugal pumps are not self-priming. This screw pump is self-priming. However, always check that the suction line is free of air and the pump casing is full of working media during initial start-up to prevent dry running.
2. Double check the alignment between the pump and the motor shaft before final commissioning. Misalignment, even if modest, can cause early wear of shaft seals and bearings.
3. Filtration is Key: These pumps have tight-tolerance internal spindles. Always be sure to install a high quality suction strainer upstream to protect the internal screws from particulate damage.
4. Viscosity monitoring. The screw pump capacity is largely pressure-independent, but very viscosity dependant. If the type of oil being handled is changed, check that the motor load remains within the rated 3/3.4kW limit.
   Surplus Integrity: This unit is surplus/new-unused, and should be hand turned manually prior to electrical connection to guarantee no internal seizing happened during long term storage.
