The Gasket Kit G057 is a necessary maintenance kit for the IMO ACG 70 K5 IVBP three-screw pump. This package has all the static seals and O-rings you need for a typical overhaul. Before opening the pump, make sure the system is fully depressurized and isolated (follow LOTO procedures).

1. Before taking apart the ACG pump, clean the outside so that dirt doesn’t get into the inside chambers.
2. Removal: Take off the front cover and seal flange with care. Pay attention to how the O-rings are currently positioned. To keep from scratching the grooves, use a brass picker.
3. Check the mechanical seal faces and the screw set for scoring when the pump is open.
4. Before putting in the new G057 gaskets and O-rings, lightly coat them with clean lubricating oil or a silicone grease that works with them. This stops pinching when putting things together.
5. Torquing: Put the housing back together and tighten the bolts in a star pattern to the manufacturer’s recommended torque (usually 45–50 Nm for ACG 70 casing bolts) to make sure the compression is even.
