GE Panametrics PM880 Portable Hygrometer Moisture Analyzer

The GE Panametrics PM880 is a portable hygrometer and moisture analyzer that is safe to use on its own. It is made for quickly checking and monitoring moisture levels in industrial gases and non-aqueous liquids. It comes with Panametrics aluminum oxide moisture probes that can be switched out.

Description of the Product

The PM880 is a small, battery-powered handheld device with an IP67-rated housing, a large graphical LCD, and an internal data logger. It can be used in natural gas, petrochemical, industrial gas, power generation, SF6 breakers, and general plant maintenance applications that require a lot of work in the field.

It shows moisture in several measures, like dew/frost point temperature, ppmv, ppmw, %RH, lb/MMSCF, and others. It also logs data and site settings, has IrDA connectivity for transferring data to a PC, and comes with a soft carrying case that fits the meter, sample system, and accessories.

You can use the analyzer with MIS, TF, and M-Series Panametrics probes, including ones with built-in pressure sensors for dynamic pressure adjustment. This means you can quickly swap probes without having to reset the electronics.
