Liebherr 692837214 Pressure Sensor (400 bar)

Description

Liebherr 692837214 High-Pressure Sensor (400 bar)

The Liebherr 692837214 pressure sensor is a high end industrial heavy duty transducer for measuring ultra-high hydraulic pressures up to 400 bar (5,801 psi). This sensor is designed for uncompromising reliability and offers high-precision data feedback under extreme mechanical stress, thermal fluctuation and corrosive conditions. It is a crucial component for ensuring real-time loop optimisation, overload prevention and accurate load sensing throughout heavy earthmoving equipment, industrial plant installations and specialised marine hydraulic infrastructure.

Features: Liebherr 692837214 Pressure Sensor

  1. High Pressure Capability Keeps operating pressures steady and transient peaks to 400 bar without performance drift.
  2. Rugged Steel Architecture Stainless steel housing, developed for structural oxidation, shockproof and corrosion resistance.
  3. Thermal Range Tolerance: Internal temperature compensation minimises signal calibration drift in high-heat conditions.
  4. Extreme Submersion Ingress: Complies with IP67/IP69K sealing standards for full protection from high-pressure washdowns and dirt.
  5. EMI/RFI Filtering Integrated electrical shielding reduces interference from heavy motors, variable frequency drives and alternators in the vicinity.

Guidance From Our Engineer:

  1. Avoid Cavitation and Water Hammer. Never mount this sensor directly at a 90-degree bend where fluid velocity changes abruptly. Hydraulic spikes can locally exceed 400 bar for a microsecond, fracturing the internal sensing element over time. Use a small pigtail syphon or isolation block if dampening is required.
  2. Thread Sealing Care. When tightening the sensor into its port, always use the specified copper crush washer or bonded seal. Avoid over-applying Teflon tape; stray threads can shear off inside the block, migrating straight into the micro-orifice of the sensor and throwing off your calibrations completely.
  3. Grounding is Key. Ensure your cable shielding is grounded only at the control panel end to avoid ground loops, which introduce phantom voltage shifts in your analog PLC inputs.
