1. System Flushing Prior to installing this high pressure motor please make sure your hydraulic lines are flushed to ISO cleanliness standards. Contamination is the number one cause of early failure in high pressure piston motors.
2. Case Drain Management Make sure the case drain line is clear and runs straight back to the reservoir. A plugged case drain causes a pressure spike internally which will induce shaft seal failure.
3. Break-in Procedure: On initial commissioning, run the motor at lower pressure for the first 30 minutes to assure appropriate seating of the valve plate and rotating group.
4. Oil Selection: Use only top-quality antiwear hydraulic oil with the suitable viscosity index for your operating temperature range to safeguard the precision-machined interior surfaces.
