Johnson Controls MS-FAC4911-0 Metasys Advanced Application Controller

The Johnson Controls MS-FAC4911-0 (Revision B) is a 28-point Advanced Application Field Equipment Controller (FAC) designed for the Metasys® system. This controller is made to work with BACnet®/IP and BACnet® Secure Connect (BACnet/SC) networks. It has advanced control logic for complicated HVAC systems and building automation. The MS-FAC4911-0 has a built-in real-time clock that lets it schedule, trend, and alarm on its own, so the system will still work even if the network goes down.

The MS-FAC4911-0 is one of the best Metasys field controllers. The FAC series has high-speed 100 Hz pulse counters and improved 15-bit resolution for precise analog sensing, which is not found in ordinary controllers. Revision B of this model has 28 I/O ports built in, including universal inputs and adjustable outputs. This makes it one of the most flexible controllers in the Johnson Controls catalog for managing central plants and big air handling systems.
