The SYGOLE SG-HR-12-RS485 is a high-performance high-frequency (HF) industrial RFID reader. Engineered to enable accurate real-time data collecting under harsh operational circumstances. This integrated scanner cleanly integrates field-level asset tracking with high-level MES or PLC automation working at an ultra-reliable 13.56MHz frequency and is fully compliant with ISO-15693 regulations.

Built with a rugged, nickel-plated brass body and rated to a strict IP67 protection grade, it’s engineered from the ground up to withstand harsh industrial threats including cutting fluids, lubricating oils, heavy dust, and constant wetness. Our Engineer’s Guide:

  1. Parallel Alignment Is Critical: For best read/write cycles, the sensing face of the M30 reader must be completely parallel to the front face of your ISO-15693 RFID tag. The 0-60mm effective reading range is drastically reduced for misalignments greater than 15 degrees.
  2. Mind the Metal Cladding: This reader is protected by a nickel-plated brass shell, but putting it flat inside a solid steel block will distort the high-frequency 13.56MHz magnetic field. If you have drop-outs utilise non-metallic brackets or a clearance zone.
  3. Proximity distance: When numerous SG-HR-12 units are installed side by side along a conveyor or automated line, stringent minimum distance of 100mm must be adhered to between readers to prevent mutual RF interference.
  4. Shielding Termination: Ground the RS-485 cable shield at one end only (usually the PLC or bus-coupler cabinet side) to prevent ground loop currents that can simulate reading glitches on industrial networks.
