The Honeywell FC-SDO-0824 is a certified safe digital output module made for Safety Manager systems. It has eight 24V DC channels with a 550 mA capacity for mission-critical control. How to Use?

-> Install in a Safety Manager chassis with A9/C9 keying. Before wiring the outputs, add an external 24V DC power supply to the power terminals.

-> Use suppression diodes for inductive loads to protect against back-EMF surges when wiring solenoids or bulbs to channels.

-> Use Safety Builder software to set up diagnostic tests that check the health of outputs, such as crosstalk and power-down operations.

-> Turn on SMOD at startup to make sure that grouped de-energization is working, which will improve emergency reaction in safety loops.
