- Seal Lubrication: Before installation, lightly coat the nitrile seals with clean system fluid. Never install dry, as this can cause seal extrusion under 450 bar pressure.
- Differential Pressure Monitoring: Do not wait for the bypass to trigger. Replace the 9444370 element when the differential pressure indicator reaches 75% of the bypass setting (approx. 2.6 bar).
- Venting: After an element change, ensure the filter housing is properly vented. Air pockets in high-pressure lines can lead to cavitation and dieseling within the filter media, destroying the 10-micron fibers.
